IBM Lotus Symphony – Get a FREE CD

Few days ago I published an article on Free Open Source Software for Windows. Here comes the Lotus Symphony from the leader, IBM.  Though it’s not an Open Source software, it’s free of cost. Currently available for Windows, Linux and Mac versions.

Lotus Symphony is a free Office productivity software bundled with 3 applications: Documents, Presentations and Spreadsheets.

Features

  1. Supports a variety of file types including MS Office, Open Document Format (ODF) and of course, Lotus SmartSuite.
  2. Built in PDF converter.
  3. Comes with predefined styles for Paragraphs, Characters and Headings.
  4. One can install many available plugins which best suits their requirements.
