Hi...
Thanks for sharing such a nice information. A storage limit of 6 GB is a unique feature. Well, orbitfiles looks quite promising.

Currently their website is being updated so I am not aware of their latest features. I use 4shared even though I don't have to backup huge files, but sometimes 20MB is not done otherwise Gmail for storage is really good. 4shared gives you 5GB for storage with 100mb file size limit and no bandwidth restrictions. We can also make file public or private and we can search for the stuff on there as well which is uploaded by others and set for public view.

@Pavan, you got the point! It's better than any other free provider.

@Dennis, I never store any sensitive data in any portal. I use Orbitfiles, especially when I have to send huge volumes of data to someone else. Emails do not support this!

6GB is wonderful, but 50mb and 10gb limits. But still it is good, its better than many others of that kind... :)

@Dennis, you have a point here. Since I use only one, I really don't have to manage them.

@Nazham, I knew about DropBox and as you rightly said, only 2 GB of space. So, I prefer Orbitfiles.

My favorite online storage is Dropbox, due to it's multi platform support. But the size is only 2GB.

Thanks Arun, I'm sure I'll love it!

I gotta be honest here though, these storage sites are popping up as fast as social networks and frankly the whole premise scares me a little...

You definitely don't want to store anything sensitive which means you will have files stored in multiple places anyway...isn't that just more work?
